CREATIVE WITH AI – BETWEEN HYPE AND HORROR SCENARIO

What do the rapid developments in artificial intelligence really mean for the music-making profession? What do spectacular results at the touch of a button still have to do with artistic expression? How can we use the various AI tools in such a way that they facilitate work processes, encourage collaboration, and inspire our creativity rather than replace it?

In three modules, Jovanka v. Wilsdorf will present some of the state-of-the-art AI tools used today in music composition and production, show possible artistic approaches using examples of different musicians, and introduce the creative use of tools to realize visual visions for artwork and music videos.
